DON’T TAKE CHANCES

IN MEMORY OF CHANCE
Education. Awareness. Informed Choices.

If three minutes was long enough to end a life,
Then three minutes is long enough to save one.

WHY DON’T TAKE CHANCES EXISIT

Don’t Take Chances exists to bring balance, honesty, and lived experience into the conversation about psychedelic use.

Our purpose is not to promote fear or oppose research. It is to make sure people are given the full picture—the potential benefits, known risks, rare but serious adverse outcomes, and the voices of survivors and families who have been affected.

Through education, advocacy, research, and collaboration, we work to encourage informed decision-making, better safety practices, stronger data, and meaningful change.

Look at both sides. Ask questions. Know the risks.

CHANCE’S STORY

Chance was a loving partner, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man with dreams, plans, and a future he was looking forward to.

On May 2, 2026, his life ended in circumstances none of us could have imagined.

His story is shared not only to honour the man he was, but to encourage awareness, informed choices, and conversations that could help protect others.

Three Minutes

That’s all it took for our lives to change forever.

Three minutes took away the man I loved. Our future, our dreams, and the life we were building together changed forever.

Chance believed psilocybin was safe. He never imagined what could happen that night.

I cannot change what happened to our family. But I can share our story, encourage others to understand risks, and ask questions before making decisions.

If three minutes were enough to change everything, perhaps three minutes could help save a life.
